Carrots and Meatballs

I asked Caris today what Santa was going to bring her for Christmas. She replied, "Carrots and Meatballs". That's my girl!!! So, I have carrots in the fridge and I made her some "meatballs" aka sausage balls for Christmas morning!!! She doesn't ask for much!

We are actually celebrating Christmas on the 24th because Matthew works on Christmas this year. So, we will wake up on the 24th pretending it's the 25th!!!

Yummy Christmas Cookies!!!!

So Chase and Caris had a REALLY great morning!!! Together they ate about 40 cookies. That's right! I woke up to this mess on the floor (and a chocolate faced 2 year old). They left me about 6 of them! When i went to fix Caris some lunch, I asked her what she wanted and she said, "COOKIES!!!" What a ham! I've been watching Chase closely to see how he's doing and he seems to be fine. He's running around and playing with us.

I keep thinking how blessed Caris and Selah are. They have 3 sets of Great-Grandparents who are crazy about them! I only had one great-grandma when I was little.

The girls and I went to Florida this past week for my Grandparents 65th wedding anniversary. Some friends of ours, the Woznicks, went down with us and we had a great time. We stayed extrememly busy and came back exhausted, but we had a blast!
